At Sovereign Medicine, the physician works for you. Your existing health insurance stays in place for hospitalizations, emergency care, surgery, specialist visits, and major medical events. Sovereign Medicine covers your physician relationship — the ongoing, proactive, deeply personal care that insurance was never equipped to deliver well.
The two work together. Most patients find the combination more complete than anything they have had before.

Does Sovereign Medicine bill my insurance?
No. Sovereign Medicine does not bill insurance for membership or services. Your existing insurance continues to cover hospitalizations, emergency care, specialist visits, and major medical events. Sovereign Medicine covers your physician relationship and primary care.
What is the enrollment fee?
There is a one-time $250 enrollment fee for all new patients, including founding patients. This covers your initial consultation and onboarding. Already-established patients of Dr. Donald are not subject to this fee.
Does joining the interest list secure my founding patient spot?
No. Joining the list gives you first access to the calendar when scheduling opens. Founding patient status — and the locked founding rate — is reserved for the first 50 patients who book their consultation, complete their consultation with Dr. Donald, and are accepted into the practice.
What ages do you see?
Sovereign Medicine accepts patients ages 16 and older. Patients ages 16–17 require a parent or legal guardian to co-sign the membership agreement.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes — HSA and FSA funds can typically be used for DPC membership fees and most clinical services. Rules vary by plan administrator, so confirm with yours. Many patients find that combining a high-deductible health plan with an HSA and a Sovereign Medicine membership is the most cost-effective and comprehensive coverage they have ever had.
